Manufacturing & Quality

How your silk products are made and checked

Quality is not one checkpoint at the end of the line. Here is how a private label silk order moves through fabric review, production checks, and final inspection before it ships.

A check at every stage — not just at the end

Every private label silk order is reviewed at three points before it ships: incoming fabric, in-process sewing, and a final inspection before packing.

Incoming fabric and trim review

Before any cutting starts, the silk and trims for your order are reviewed against the approved sample and specification.

What we check
  • Silk surface review for weave defects and marks
  • Color check against the approved reference under natural light
  • Momme weight consistency with the confirmed specification
  • Trims, elastics, and zippers reviewed before they enter production

In-process checks during sewing

Checks during production catch issues while they are still easy to fix — not after a full batch is finished.

What we check
  • Seam and stitch consistency against the approved sample
  • Logo label position and application method
  • Sizing spot checks during the production run
  • Construction details such as elastic tension, hems, and closures

Final inspection before packing

Finished products are checked before they are packed, so what ships matches what you approved.

What we check
  • Measurement verification against the size specification
  • Appearance review — color, surface, and stitching
  • Workmanship check on closures, elastics, and edges
  • Packaging review — labels, inserts, barcodes, and cartons

Work to your standard

If your brand has its own QC checklist, AQL requirement, or inspection process, share it when you start a project. The production and inspection plan is reviewed together before bulk production begins.

All our mulberry silk fabrics are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and produced in line with EU REACH regulations, and as a Sedex advanced member our factory is covered by SMETA social audits. Certificate and test-report numbers are available on request when you start a project.

OEKO TEX STANDARD 100 tested mulberry silk fabrics can be reviewed for suitable projects. Our company follows ISO 9001 quality management practices. We are a Sedex member. A SMETA audit report can be discussed if required for a specific buyer program.

Quality control FAQ

What is checked before my order ships?

Finished products go through a final inspection before packing: measurements against the size specification, appearance and stitching review, and packaging details such as labels, inserts, barcodes, and cartons.

What keeps bulk production consistent with my sample?

The approved sample is the reference for the whole order. Incoming fabric is checked against it before cutting, and in-process checks during sewing compare seams, logo placement, and sizing to the same reference.

Can you work with my brand's own QC checklist?

Yes — share your checklist or inspection requirements when you start a project, and the inspection plan is reviewed together before bulk production begins.

Do you check the silk material itself?

Yes. Incoming fabric review covers surface quality, color against the approved reference, and momme weight consistency with the confirmed specification before any cutting starts.
